If you’re a tenant or subtenant, make sure you received an RL-31 slip from your landlord, who had until February 29 to complete and send you the slip. You need it to claim the housing component of the solidarity tax credit.
To receive the credit, you must:
- file your income tax return and Schedule D;
- be registered for direct deposit.
The solidarity tax credit is money in your pocket. Check whether you’re eligible and claim it today.
